This vintage hooped glass vase has a distinctly modernist silhouette, echoing the shapely Scandinavian vases of the same period. The central section is composed of a series of bulging rings in graduated sizes—like a classical balustrade, reimagined in glass—juxtaposed by slender tubular sections at the top and base. A thoughtful and tactile composition that balances geometry with fluidity. The glass itself is deeply pigmented cobalt blue, with thick, weighty walls and a precisely polished rim—hallmarks of skilled handblown glassware.
