The piece stands on a square plinth base and retains its original lid.

Hand-painted with a fine gilt trailing vine and small cobalt-blue flowers, the decoration reflects the restrained elegance of early 19th century Worcester design.

The impressed crown over FBB mark identifies production during the Flight, Barr & Barr partnership, known for supplying high-quality porcelain to aristocratic patrons.

An attractive and relatively uncommon form with strong decorative appeal.
