Although … Read more This bulbous vase with a narrow neck is a remarkable piece produced by the Sainte-Radegonde factory in the 1950s. Although founder Gustave Asch passed away in 1911, the workshop perpetuated his technical heritage while embracing the codes of Mid-Century design.

The vase features an intensely crackled white glaze, serving as a background for a polychrome decoration with organic and abstract inspiration. It is embellished with fine gold highlights and red-orange tones typical of the 1950s palette. The piece bears the famous axe signature on the reverse, a historic visual rebus of the Asch company.
