Each vase is formed in optic glass and finished with hand-applied white “candy stripe” bands that spiral upward, introducing a measured sense of movement across the surface. The cylindrical forms are tall and softly contoured, with a restrained silhouette that reflects the clarity and balance of Italian modernist glass design of the period. The polished rims provide a clean, resolved edge, complementing the verticality of the bodies and reinforcing their architectural presence. Executed in a transparent chartreuse tone, the glass interacts subtly with light, while the white striping creates contrast without overwhelming the form. This combination of colour and pattern is characteristic of Empoli glass production, where decorative innovation remained closely tied to traditional blowing techniques. Each vase measures approximately 19.3 inches (49 cm) in height with a diameter of 5.7 inches (14.5 cm), making them suitable for floor placement or elevated display on a console, mantel, or pedestal.
