The small bowl is … Read more A decorative freeform shaped Murano glass bowl by Archimede Seguso, hand-crafted in Italy during the 1980s. The small bowl is crafted from clear Murano glass infused with suspended gold inclusions. The merge of the glass and gold create a luminous, internal shimmer characteristic of Seguso’s use of the avventurina technique. The form is fluid and organic, with a shallow central well and gently undulating edges that reflect the artisanal nature of its making. Modest in scale yet rich in detail, it serves beautifully as a decorative accent, a bedside ring dish, or a refined tabletop object. The underside is smoothly polished. In good vintage condition with only light wear to the base, consistent with age and gentle use.
