The design originates from the Hadley period and remained popular in later production. The figure is shown holding castanets (krotala), with a pose referencing Spanish dance and flamenco, while maintaining a classical Worcester composition.

The modelling is characterised by flowing lines and controlled asymmetry, creating a natural silhouette.

The surface features a grey-toned pearlescent glaze with subtle blue transitions, producing a refined luminous effect. Gilding is used sparingly to accent the form.

The underside bears a puce Royal Worcester mark and model number 1827, reflecting a transitional marking phase.

A well-balanced and attractive example of this recognised Worcester model.
