The form is confidently restrained: an urn-like modernist silhouette with a rounded body and subtle concentric ribbing at the neck—an understated detail that adds texture while preserving the clarity of the profile. The glaze is the visual focus, with layered turquoise and moss-green tones applied in an organic drip effect across a matte ground. The result is softly variegated and painterly, emphasising the vase’s sculptural presence without overt decoration. The base is stamped “beswick england” and numbered “1552”. Measurements: 21 cm h x 13 cm diameter (approx. 8.3 in h x 5.1 in diameter). Condition is very good vintage, with light wear consistent with age.
