Known for their bold colour palettes and high-gloss glazes, Carlton Ware was a notable name in mid-century English ceramics, and this vintage solifleur vase is a subtle expression of their modernist direction during the post-war period. The vase is formed from ceramic and glazed in a vibrant shade of mid-century chartreuse green. Its design is elegant in its simplicity: a rounded, bulbous body rising to a slender, tapered neck, proportioned to display a single flower stem.
