These handcrafted pedestals, dating from 1960, are versatile and can be used in various ways. Each measures 58cm high x 49cm wide x 29cm deep. These vintage, antique-style wrought iron pedestals feature a thousand-leaf motif. The base is made of aged wrought iron and topped with a highly prized piece of Roman rough-hewn stone, a rare and valuable Roman stone that is no longer commercially available unless it is already in existence and of proven antiquity. The pieces available are the only ones that remain. Overall, they are in good condition, as shown in the photos, with wear consistent with age and use. The stones have some minor chipping on the corners, visible in the photos. The design features ornamentation with vine motifs, acanthus leaves, and grape clusters, showcasing intricate handcrafted ironwork. The top is made of authentic rough-hewn stone. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, including patios and gardens. They also serve as handcrafted wrought iron benches or consoles with bases featuring leaf or vine motifs, a Spanish design. They are very sturdy and can support a sculpture or a heavy plant.
