A rare swedish art deco pewter vase produced by gab guldsmedsaktiebolaget, dated 1936. This uncommon model features a rounded, baluster-shaped body set on a stepped foot, with distinctive, elegantly curved dual handles that frame the form and emphasize its sculptural presence. The surface retains its original patina with gentle wear consistent with age, adding depth and character. The underside is stamped “gab tenn svensk vara,” confirming its swedish origin and authenticity. A scarce and refined example of scandinavian art deco design, combining functional craftsmanship with a bold yet understated aesthetic.
