Executed in brass with a leather-wrapped stem, the lamp is defined by its refined proportions and restrained material palette. The flexible gooseneck arm allows precise adjustment of the light direction, while contributing to the lamp’s fluid and sculptural silhouette.

The switch is discreetly integrated on the lamp head, allowing for intuitive operation without interrupting the overall form.

The pleated shade, handmade in Sweden by Hallbergs, measures 23 cm in diameter and 18 cm in height. Its finely structured surface diffuses the light into a warm and softly atmospheric glow, adding both texture and visual depth.

The combination of brass, leather, and textile reflects a distinctly Swedish approach to mid-century lighting, where material contrast and functional refinement are often given equal importance. Compared to the more formally reduced Danish designs of the same period, Swedish lighting frequently introduces a slightly richer material expression, as seen here in the interplay between patinated brass and aged leather.

The brass surfaces have developed a rich natural patina over time, complemented by the aged leather wrapping, which together enhance the lamp’s tactile and material presence.
