1931. This sculptural piece exemplifies the refined simplicity and craftsmanship of early 20th-century Scandinavian design. The bowl features a wide, flared form with a subtly uneven, hand-finished rim, adding a sense of movement and individuality to the otherwise clean, architectural silhouette. Raised on a circular foot, the piece has a well-balanced and elegant presence. The pewter surface displays a naturally aged patina with visible scratches, marks, and tonal variations, consistent with age and use. These characteristics enhance its authenticity and give the piece a warm, timeworn character highly appreciated by collectors. Crafted in solid pewter by one of Sweden’s most renowned silversmithing firms, this bowl works beautifully as a centerpiece or sculptural decorative object. A refined and characterful example of Swedish Art Deco metalwork.
