The desk is constructed from high quality Oak that displays a warm, country patination.

The top of the desk has a lip to the front, which holds papers whilst working on them at different angles.
The desk top can be adjusted with the charming angle metal mecahnism to the right side.
The desk top also has a sweet carved ink holder.

Under the desk top is a lower shelf, ideal for storing your writing materials or documents.
There is a carved handle hole to the right side of the desk.

Leading down the sides of the desk to the solid lower plinth feet, that are connected by a solid square support.

This useful writing desk would make for a gorgeous addition to a country or farmhouse home setting.

Overall this writing desk is in good condition, with signs of use and wear, as to be expected from years of history (see photographs).
