The organically shaped body with its … Read more Expressive, free-form glass vase from the maltese studio glass production of the mdina/mtarfa glassblowers. The organically shaped body with its spherical base flows seamlessly into a tall, asymmetrical opening, its silhouette reminiscent of floral or maritime forms. The deep blue glass with its subtle, lighter inclusions creates a vibrant sense of depth and is typical of the artisanal glass production of malta in the second half of the 20th century. Each piece is unique, characterized by its deliberately irregular lines, air bubbles, and color variations. The existing signature and label underscore its origin from the mdina/mtarfa workshop.

condition: very good vintage condition with minor signs of wear and a few minor inclusions in the glass due to the manufacturing process.
