The bargueño, an emblematic piece of furniture from 16th and 17th-century Spain, embodies the refinement and craftsmanship of that era. This sumptuous walnut cabinet opens with a drop-front, revealing a richly decorated interior with 10 drawers.
This beautiful bargueño is distinguished by its exquisite marquetry work on the drop-front, two sides, and the interior. A Moorish influence indicates that it dates from the late 16th-century Renaissance period. More classical bargueños are later examples.

Original lock and working key.
It rests on a beautiful table with a superb, one-piece Renaissance-era walnut top and a later (19th-century) base.
In superb condition with a magnificent patina.
