The cabinet is beautifully detailed throughout with finely carved panels and an elegant architectural form that reflects traditional Japanese design.
The upper section is crowned with a distinctive pagoda style gallery adding height and presence while reinforcing its Eastern influence. Below a glazed door opens to reveal a highly decorative interior fitted with shaped shelves and carved back panels designed to display porcelain works of art or treasured objects. The flowing arrangement of the shelves gives the piece movement and visual interest, setting it apart from more standard cabinets.
