Materials: Wool and metal. Tina Tictone is a French contemporary artist whose work has been presented in France and internationally, and is held in private collections as well as foundations. Her practice is material-led, shaped by trace, space and silence, and unfolds through works on paper, textile pieces and installations. She explores the construction of femininity between refuge and constraint and the transformation of inherited narratives. Rooted in residencies at the Montresso Foundation and field encounters with Berber women weavers in the Atlas Mountains, her research reactivates symbolic vocabularies and personal archives. It now extends into raw wool, natural dye processes and handmade paper, where transformation becomes both material and political an intimate tension between vulnerability and resistance. See less
