The marquetry is crafted from olive, walnut, rosewood, and boxwood. Superb wood marquetry work with geometric designs on the sides and bronze mounts.
It opens with five drawers in four rows, which is always more elegant than four large drawers.
The rounded uprights are highlighted by wood stringing.
The drawer interiors are made of walnut, a sign of quality.

It is topped with its original Saint-Anne marble slab, which is intact.

French polished.

The work is comparable to the pieces produced by Thomas Hache in Grenoble.

Regency period - early 18th century
