brand manifattura ceramica torinese tre a.a.a. (turin, active from the 1920s to the 1960s) was one of the leading manufacturers of artistic and decorative ceramics in 20th-century piedmont. Founded in turin under the brand name tre a.a.a. (which stands for “artistica artigianale alta artigianalità” or similar variations), it specialized in the production of vases, plates, lamps, decorative figures, and gift items in majolica and glazed ceramics. The factory’s style was characterized by floral, stylized, or geometric decorations, often featuring the vivid, brilliant glazes typical of art deco and evolved art nouveau tastes. In the 1930s and 1940s, it achieved considerable regional renown, collaborating with designers and artists from turin. Production gradually ceased in the 1960s. Today, ceramics bearing the tre a.a.a. Signature are sought after by collectors of 20th-century italian ceramics, especially for the quality of the glazes and their distinctly turin-style charm.
