Crafted primarily from solid elm wood and complemented by an oak frame, the piece features a beautifully figured grain and a warm, naturally developed patina. The top is finished with a black marble slab with subtle grey veining, providing both durability and visual contrast.

The commode is fitted with five drawers, offering generous storage. Four drawers are equipped with functioning locks and come with a key. The lower drawer opens from underneath, a characteristic detail of the period.

The proportions and refined yet understated design make this piece suitable for a variety of interiors. It can be used as a bedroom commode, or alternatively as a console or storage cabinet in a living space.

The piece is constructed in multiple parts (frame, drawers, and marble top), which facilitates transport and installation.
