Glazed ceramic vase with a distinctive triangular shape by Italian designer Elio Schiavon, dating back to the 1960s and 1970s. Elio Schiavon (1925–2004) was a renowned Italian ceramist. His artistic career was characterized by a combination of traditional craftsmanship and ongoing research. After working as an apprentice, he opened his own kiln, Schiavon Ceramiche, in Padua in 1954, later moving it to Abano Terme in 1964. He won numerous Italian and international awards, including the Premio Faenza Giovani and recognition at the Venice Biennale. This vase is a typical example of postwar Italian art ceramics, characterized by hand-painted decorations in bright colors and stylized landscape motifs. The vase bore his unmistakable signature on the bottom. This piece has an attribution mark,
