Constructed as a multi-panel screen, allowing flexible positioning to suit a variety of interiors Circa 1920. Each panel intricately carved with traditional jali openwork, a technique widely used in Indian architecture for light filtration and privacy. The repeating foliate and geometric motifs reflect strong Mughal influence, with craftsmanship typical of Rajasthan. The upper sections with more elaborate pierced carving, adding depth and visual interest. Warm natural wood tones with a pleasing aged patina throughout. Produced in the Anglo-Indian tradition for export to European markets. Ideal as a room divider, dressing screen, or statement decorative feature. Folds flat for ease of transport and storage.
