The combination of the solid, characterful walnut top and the heavy raw steel legs makes this table a timeless, unique piece with a sculptural presence. In the TIX series, the authenticity of the material is paramount. Nothing is concealed; instead, nature is celebrated in its purest form. Solid walnut (natural finish): The tabletop showcases the beauty of the tree. In the "natural finish," cracks and knots are intentionally left open and unfilled. This gives the table a distinctive, archaic look. Soaped surface: The tabletop is soaped, which accentuates the natural color and grain of the walnut and gives the wood a velvety, matte feel while allowing it to breathe.
