More than a functional piece of furniture, this wave chaise lounge is a striking design statement its flowing form makes it a true eye catcher and a refined homage to design tradition. Particularly noteworthy is the rare version with a chrome rocking base. Unlike the more common wooden plinth versions, this model was produced in very limited numbers and belongs to the early editions making it a highly desirable collector’s piece with strong potential for appreciation.
Model 1264, an iconic rocking wave chaise lounge from the 1960s. The chrome construction gives the piece a lighter, more modern appearance while maintaining its exceptional comfort and signature wave profile.
The original black faux fur upholstery is preserved, pleasantly soft, and has not been reupholstered. It shows minor signs of age-related wear but no major damage. The chrome elements display a light patina yet remain in overall good vintage condition. Professionally cleaned and carefully restored to maintain its original color and surface quality. A charming and rare piece for collectors of vintage design and graphic aesthetics.
