Stunning, vintage Rosenthal of Germany genuine 24k gold plated multicolor porcelain vase. Signed and numbered piece in excellent condition. Offered in the large size, it measures 11" in height and 4.80" in diameter. One owner only. Purchased at Rosenthal of Monaco, Monte-Carlo.

The vase was created by Bjorn Wiinblad, a renowned Danish artist for the German porcelain company Rosenthal. The design is part of the "Scheherazade" series, which drew inspiration from the Babylonian Queen and the famous 1001 Arabian Nights stories. The motif on this beautiful piece is an abstract female form with graceful silhouette, surrounded by various flowers. The background of the vase has a muted, antique gold finish with genuine, 24k gold plating etched throughout and iridescent color tones. It has a whimsical color palette of: Aqua, fuchsia pink, yellow, gold, emerald green, apple green, cobalt blue, amber, orange, purple, red and charcoal grey. Aesthetically stunning in person. See less
