This … Read more A fine antique fine pair of French Grand Tour patinated ormolu, bronze and marble tazzas, circa 1850 in date. This superb pair of tazzas each feature scrolling foliate handles decorated with stylised dolphin head detailing on fluted bowls above curling acanthus leaves and circular bases on Rosso Levanto marble square-section plinths with ormolu acanthus leaf borders. This high quality hot cast solid bronze was produced using the traditional "lost wax" process, otherwise known as the "cire perdue" method. The craftsmanship is second to none throughout all aspects of this pair and they are sure to add an unparalleled touch of class to your home.
