Its construction is characterized by delicate, seemingly floating, and elegantly splayed square legs, also known as "saber legs." This understated yet unmistakably Biedermeier design can be interpreted as an example of purism. It features a concealed drawer with internal dividers, and the overhanging top is finished with a fine ebonized edge and a shellac polish that beautifully highlights the warm hue of the cherry wood.

Thanks to its lightweight design, this piece of furniture can be easily placed next to seating, perfectly fulfilling its original purpose.
