Striking pair of Italian Murano blown “sommerso” glass ashtrays or catchalls. This charming and unique set was designed by Flavio Poli and produced in Italy during the 1960s. In amazing condition, with no chips or cracks. These stylish pieces were produced using the sommerso technique, encasing vivid deep ruby and blue glass layers. The fluid, organic forms embody the elegance of Italian glassmaking of the period. A highly decorative and collectible set, ideal as ashtrays, vide-poche, or sculptural accents for refined interiors.
