Finely decorated porcelain cup with saucer: Bell-shaped, flared cup on a stepped foot, with a fully ribbed wall, the upper … Read more Finely decorated porcelain cup with saucer: Bell-shaped, flared cup on a stepped foot, with a fully ribbed wall, the upper section featuring a white ground with delicate coloured marbling resembling iridescent mother-of-pearl, the lower section and the raised handle, featuring a bird’s head and leaf motif, finished with a silver overlay, the interior of the cup gilded from the upper rim down to two-thirds, with a white mirror. Saucer on a wide footring with a gold rim, stepped mirror with silver overlay and a small white round recess with a gold-painted leaf rosette, ribbed, outward-flaring saucer rim with a wavy edge and a white background with delicate coloured marbling as on the cup, outer edge and underside gilded to one-third.
