Portrait in walking dress, with her cloak draped over her shoulders, of Queen Marie Antoinette of Habsburg-Lorraine (1755-1793), the last queen of France before the French Revolution, known for her lavish lifestyle and tragic fate. The work is presented in an early 20th-century gilded frame, which shows several signs of damage and missing stucco (very brittle). This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
