Set of two beatiful 19th-century hand-colored lithographs framed in gold leaf and with a green passe-partout.
"j. Gould & w. Hart del et lith" and "j. Gould & hc richter del et lith" refers to a 19th-century ornithological print produced by british naturalist john gould (1804–1881) and artist william matthew hart (1830–1908) and h c richter (1812-1902) "del et lith" (delineavit et lithussit) means they designed and drew the image onto the lithographic stone based on sketches or designs by gould.
