This technique involves layering coloured glass within transparent glass to create distinct colour layers. The vase is constructed by layering several layers of molten coloured glass. The artistry lies in keeping the colours perfectly distinct without them blending together
Characterised by a combination of vibrant colours, green and orange: a vibrant amber/orange hue that captures the light at the heart of the vase; a band of deep green; and a very thick layer of smoky grey or bluish glass towards the outside.
