A classic 1970s Director’s X-Chair designed by Leonard Linden, John McGuire, and Elinor McGuire for McGuire Furniture Company. This iconic piece reflects the brand’s celebrated combination of organic materials and refined craftsmanship.
This chair has been meticulously updated and features a solid wood frame (finished in a rich mahogany stain), bound with traditional rawhide lacing and accented with polished brass hardware. The seat and backrest have been newly upholstered, by a master upholsterer in Miami, in a bold, velvet jacquard textile by Dedar (Jamu Jungle – T24024, Col. 1 pantera), offering a contemporary update to its classic silhouette.
This chair is both sculptural and functional folding easily for storage.
