This beautiful secretary desk features four drawers, a theater-style writing surface in the lower section, and a glazed upper section that can be used as a bookcase or display cabinet.

A large and uncommon model with superb doors decorated with mahogany moldings.
This very fine secretary desk is distinguished by its magnificent interior, featuring a theater-style writing surface with several arched compartments and drawers, and a door. The drawers are decorated with lemonwood stringing, and the door with parquetry depicting the Georgian star, indicating its 18th-century Georgian style. The door reveals two small drawers.
The drop-front of the secretary desk, as well as the four drawers, are decorated with walnut stringing. The same netting can be found on the upper section.

The upper section consists of two glass doors with a beautiful carved cornice.

Original shelves with a lovely patina and molding.
The shelf height can be adjusted using an 18th-century mechanism (the racks are carved into the piece).
Very beautiful patina and in superb condition.
