The Oblique Perspective is a contemporary limited edition print from my Of a [Familiar] Nature series, created in 2025. Digitally hand-drawn, the work reflects on the relationship between nature and the built world, and on the ways human presence shapes the spaces around us.
In this piece, I was thinking about relative positioning, and the way alliances and allegiances are formed in changing conditions. The crows, flies, and ants all play into that sense of watchfulness, movement, and adjustment within an unstable environment.
Offered as a limited-edition archival pigment print on paper, framed in a 2" solid white wood frame, in two sizes: 38" x 38" framed, edition of 5; and 26" x 26" framed, edition of 10.
