Classic armchair with grid back, … Read more Cassina D.S.4 armchairs designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1918, set of 4, circa 1980s. Classic armchair with grid back, woven seagrass seats and mother-of-pearl inlay accents. Traditional mortise and tenon solid ash wood construction. Presented in stained ebony frame with nice woodgrain presence. Lovely design featuring hard lines with patterns that allow light to pass through, balancing the contrast for the dark silhouette and air. Comfortable seating. Good used condition, two chairs still have the original tags. Manufacturer markings. Made in Italy. Matching D.S.2 table is also available for sale. See less
