Beautiful Japanese silk scroll painting depicts a Young Beauty with a Puppet by Getsudo. Signed and sealed by the artist: “Getsudo” (月童). Very well done. Watercolor and ink on silk over paper. Beautifully mounted on silk. Bone style roller ends. Paper on back. Japan, Showa Era, circa 1950-1960s. Very Good condition - some age wear, some foxing and staining, clean. This scroll can be trimmed and framed.
