Take home this traditional lidded serving dish in ivory porcelain with ornate 22K gold detailing, marked Japan.
The form is classic—a low, pedestal-based bowl with integrated handles and a domed lid—while the decoration leans into delicate gold scrollwork that wraps the body and lid. The fully gilded handles and base add contrast and warmth against the softer ivory ground.
Marked on the underside: Japan 22 K. Gold. Measures approximately 10.5” wide including handles, 9.5” wide without handles, and 6.5” tall with lid.
In excellent vintage condition with light wear to the gold consistent with age. A refined addition to a traditional table or layered display.
