Whilst on my way to the studio on a crisp morning, I was wondering what to paint that day - I came across a monstera plant with a "ZU VERSCHENKEN" sign. I took it to the studio, where most of my lights had just broken, leaving a clear silhouette. I traced the outline of the shadow in green, rotated the plant and traced the shadow a second time in white.
Oil stick lines on acrylic paint on linen canvas.
