Digitally … Read more The Lost Pleasure is a contemporary limited edition print from my Of a [Familiar] Nature series, created in 2025. Digitally hand-drawn, the work reflects on the relationship between nature and the built world, and on the ways human presence shapes the spaces around us. In this piece, I was thinking about the way uncompromising acceptance can shed the shackles of unacceptable compromise.

For me, the work holds a tension between fragility and resolve. The hummingbird carries a sense of intensity and presence, while the darker surrounding forms suggest pressure, limitation, or intrusion. The gold ribbon introduces the idea of value — what we cherish, protect, or pursue — and the piece sits in that space where something delicate remains fully itself, even when surrounded by forces that would diminish it.

Offered as a limited-edition archival pigment print on paper, framed in a 2" solid white wood frame, in two sizes: 38" x 38" framed, edition of 5; and 26" x 26" framed, edition of 10. See less
