Maison Baguès was a French design house specializing in luxury lighting in the late 19th century, and in the 1920's the iconic "parrot and foliage" design was introduced. Each of these sconces is conceived as perched bird resting atop a classical urn, surrounded by scrolling branches adorned with faceted crystal leaves. The composition is finished in a luminous silver leaf, enhancing the naturalistic detailing and lending a refined, jewel-like presence to the wall. Each sconce supports two candle-form lights with flowerhead bobeches, newly wired for modern use. Tailored red pleated lampshades included.
