The Sixth Street House [1987 (drawings) - 1992 (completion)] is one of Thom Mayne and his firm Morphosis's most influential early works, serving as both a residence and a manifesto for Deconstructivist architecture. Located in Santa Monica, California, the project transformed a standard 1920s bungalow into a complex architectural experiment that merged machinery with domestic life. These drawings are held in the MoMA, have been featured in major MoMA architectural exhibitions, and are known for their intricate layering of plan, elevation, and detail.
