Tom Green was a pioneering American designer known for creating iconic Brutalist style pieces in the 1960’s and 70’s. He used an oxyacetylene torch to cut heat and scorch brass and bronze creating unique metal pieces.His dramatic statement pieces were featured in Weston and Hilton hotels and even a 1960’s episode of “Star Trek “. The chandelier features descending tiers of dripping, distressed and destroyed brass flames. The chandelier shows slight signs of wear and still retains its unpolished scorched patina and ceiling plate. See less
