Make a room something special with this pair of luxurious cloisonné birds, hand crafted by old world Chinese artisans in the c1912 Qing Dynasty. The artistic technique for cloisonné work involves creating compartments (cloisons) on a metal object using wire, which are then filled with colored glass paste and fired in a kiln.
The tail feathers are enameled and the birds have overall gilding with multicolored feathers. Each is mounted on a black lacquered wood base. Both are in near mint condition with no damage or repairs.
