A magnificent example of Guy Chaddock’s celebrated Almont Collection, this grand French Provincial armoire is a true statement piece. Standing approximately 7 feet tall and 4 feet wide, it commands attention with its beautifully arched bonnet top featuring hand-carved floral and scroll motifs.
The two-door upper section is fitted with original chicken wire panels, allowing contents to breathe while remaining elegantly displayed. Interior shelving provides generous storage. The lower section features solid raised panel doors with carved shell details, flanked by original brass hinges and decorative escutcheon hardware throughout.
Resting on scrolled cabriole feet with a carved floral apron, this piece exemplifies the quality and craftsmanship Guy Chaddock was renowned for. In excellent condition with beautiful patina consistent with age.
