For sale are a pair of rare marked "C. E. Walbridge" cast iron planters/urns, each with a pair of heavy scrolled arms. There are many coats of white chippy paint on these very old planters. It was the arms that are so lovely, plus I appreciated the old chippy paint.
C.E. Walbridge is known for their planters in the early 1900's. I uncovered the raised lettering on one of the chippy bases showing the Bridge name. Each corner of the base has raised letters just like those in the last four photos. The last 4 photos are of a black planter base to show the letters without lots of layers of chippy paint. The black planter is not yet for sale.
