Rare Jens Risom U-250 settee from the 1950s. This is the extremely rare 5 seat contract version, not something that was offered in standard catalogs. It is extremely comfortable, even compared to modern sofas!
Freshly refinished solid walnut base with a really nice tone and clean lines. The profile is low and long with a slight curve through the seat that looks great from every angle.
The upholstery was redone at some point and is still in good usable condition. It has a double row of buttons instead of the original single row, which gives it a slightly more tailored look but still fits the design well.
Great scale for a larger living space, studio, or commercial setting. It has presence without feeling bulky.
No makers mark present.
