The frames are finished in gilded wood, presenting a warm, naturally aged patina that has softened beautifully over time. Subtle variations in tone and light surface wear lend depth and character throughout. The design is defined by architectural open backs with repeating arched motifs, paired with fluted uprights, rosette corner blocks, and tapering legs - a strong neoclassical foundation with a more sculptural, rhythmic presence. The chairs have been structurally revised in our workshop to ensure they are solid and stable, ready for daily use. Newly upholstered in a rich green mohair and finished with hand-applied brass nailhead trim. The seats are generously proportioned, offering both comfort and presence.
