Ornate vintage Italian pedestal bowl features a pair of bronze-tone cherubs or cheribum or putti figures supporting a scalloped white ceramic dish. The figures are intricately detailed, clutching a cluster of grapes, and set upon a solid white marble base. A foil label on the side confirms its Italian origin and marble construction. This piece serves as a sophisticated accent for a vanity, side table, or as a small centerpiece, blending classical Renaissance-inspired motifs with mid-century elegance. It does have patina and age including patina/oxidation on the bronze-tone metal and minor wear on the marble base and scuffs inside the bowl. Please see photos for details.
