Likely dating to the 1970s–80s, this piece reflects the relaxed coastal aesthetic that has come back strongly into current interiors.

Carved from solid wood with incised scale detailing and a slightly weathered surface, it has a simple, stylized form with good presence. The worn paint and natural patina give it a more authentic, time-softened look rather than a newer decorative piece.
